Oomi Product - specific terms, corporate customers - Oomi Seasonal

The terms will come into effect on 1/4/2025

These product-specific terms are part of the customer's contract with Oomi Oy.

Oomi Seasonal

Oomi Seasonal is a fixed-term contract in which the terms and the prices are determined in accordance with what is agreed upon when the contract is signed, and will remain as agreed until the end of the contract period. The price under an Oomi Seasonal contract is made up of a basic fee (€/month) and the price of the energy (c/kWh), as well as value added tax (VAT). The price of energy is determined differently in summer and winter. In winter, a fixed energy price is applied, while in summer so-called spot pricing is used for energy, as explained below:

Winter period 1 November – 31 March

The fixed energy price for the winter period (c/kWh) is agreed upon when signing the contract and remains the same from the start of November until the end of March (1 November – 31 March).

Summer period 1 April – 31 October

The energy pricing for the summer period applies from the beginning of April until the end of October (1 April – 31 October). The summer period pricing comprises the vendor’s margin (c/kWh) and a fluctuating spot price, which is based on the hourly electricity price for Finland published by the Nordic electricity exchange (Nord Pool AS). The hourly cost is the customer’s electricity consumption for that hour multiplied by the price for the corresponding hour. The average price shown on the invoice is the cost of the individual hours of the month added together and divided by the amount of energy consumed during the month, i.e. the electricity consumption-weighted average price for the month. The hourly energy prices are not broken down on the electricity invoice. The vendor’s margin will be the same as specified at the time of establishing the contract and as verified on the contract confirmation, and will remain the same until the end of the contract period.

Hourly prices based on the hourly electricity price for the price area published by Nord Pool AS are an integral part of the nature of the exchange electricity contract and, therefore, hourly changes to the energy price in the Oomi Seasonal contract do not constitute changes to the price or contractual conditions of which the customer is informed in advance (SME 2024 8.2).

Ending of a fixed-term contract

If the customer has not otherwise informed Oomi 14 days before the expiry date of the fixed term or signed a new fixed-term contract, the contract will continue to be automatically valid until further notice with the product and price separately confirmed by Oomi Oy.
