Welcome to our new website! We’re still settling in – a few things here and there need some finishing touches, and there might be an odd wire still hanging from the ceiling. But it’s coming together. 🙂

Content or functions that are not yet accessible

The deficiencies listed below will be fixed during 2026.

Navigation and search

There are minor accessibility problems with the service’s mobile navigation, footer and search function:

  • When mobile navigation is opened, the keyboard focus is not at the beginning of the navigation. The content is in a slightly illogical focus order for keyboard and screen reader users. (WCAG 2.4.3)
  • Mobile navigation covers the entire view. However, the screen reader focus can escape from the navigation to the page below the opened navigation. (WCAG 2.4.3)
  • Screen reader users do not receive feedback on the search results. The number of search results can be found lower on the search page, but users must first navigate through the top of the page before information about possible results can be found. (WCAG 4.1.3)
  • Navigation landmarks have been used in the footer. The navigation landmarks have accessible names, but the naming is somewhat non-descriptive and in English, which makes them a bit difficult to understand with a screen reader. (WCAG 2.4.6)

Content

  • The service has small info buttons, where users can open more information. Screen readers incorrectly indicate that the additional information buttons are always closed, even if they are open. (WCAG 4.1.2)
  • There are some repetitive and non-descriptive Read more links on the site. (WCAG 2.4.4)
  • On the website, you can filter electricity contracts. In the mobile view, the filters are hidden behind a button that can be collapsed. The collapsible button is an unnamed arrow button that can be a bit unclear for screen readers. (WCAG 4.1.2)
  • On the Spot-price -page, there are switches that can be used to change the displayed view and time interval. Screen readers do not indicate which option is selected. In addition, the keyboard focus indicator is poorly distinguishable on these switches. (WCAG 4.1.2, 1.4.11)
  • There is a graph of electricity prices on the spot-price -page. The data-bar is not accessible with screen readers, nor is it visually clearly distinguishable. An accessible alternative is available for the data in the diagram in table format. The tables can be found in the same view, by changing the presentation format to Table.
  • The service has form fields. Screen readers do not always recognize invalid form fields, and they do not always read error messages that appear under the field. (WCAG 1.3.2)
  • Form fields stand out a little too faintly from their background, as they do not have strongly distinguishable borders. (WCAG 1.4.11)
  • The keyboard focus indicator is not always visible at all for various form elements. For some buttons and links, it is only faintly visible. (WCAG 2.4.7 and WCAG 1.4.11)
  • The service has some words related to headings that do not seem to be grouped together with the heading, which makes the grouping a bit unclear to screen readers. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • The service has some informative images that don’t have alt text. (WCAG 1.1.1)
  • There are some individual buttons in the service whose text contrast is a little too low. (WCAG 1.4.3)

Contract helper

  • The Contract helper function opens in a pop-up window. The window has not been implemented in a technically accessible way. The keyboard and screen reader focus can escape from the window to the page below. (WCAG 4.1.2, 2.4.3)
  • The different stages of the Contract helper are updated dynamically in the pop-up window, but the screen reader does not inform users of the changed content. In addition, keyboard and screen reader users must reverse using the keyboard to reach the new content. (WCAG 4.1.3 and 2.4.3)
  • There are various radio buttons in the Contract Helper. The questions and answer options may not form completely clear groups for screen readers. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • There are some links in the Contract helper whose contrast against their background is a bit too low. (WCAG 1.4.3)
  • The Contract helper has a form field for information about the floor area of the apartment. There is no accessible name on the field. (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • The results proposed by the Contract helper are presented in card-like views. From the point of view of screen readers, the cards are radio buttons, even though they are not actually selectable items. In addition, the decorative images on the cards are not hidden from screen readers. The headings of the cards are also not marked with heading tags. (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.3.1, 4.1.2)
