Electricity contract for students

With a fixed-term Oomi Fixed contract, you can take care of electricity for a longer period of time at once. The price will stay the same, making things easier to anticipate when you know what you will be paying for electricity in the next few years.

The contract is fixed-term and has a fixed price for the selected contract period, after which the contract will remain in effect until further notice. We will notify you of this well in advance.

The fixed-term Oomi Flex contract is a combination of a fixed-price and exchange-price contract. You can lower the price of energy by focusing your consumption on the more affordable quarter-hours of the day. Correspondingly, using electricity during the most expensive quarter-hours will increase the price. Oomi´s customers have had an average consumption impact: +0.05 c/kWh. Typically the consumption impact is -3.9 … +1.6 c/kWh.

The price of the Oomi Flex electricity contract consists of three parts:

1. Monthly basic fee (€/month)
2. Fixed price of electricity (c/kWh)
3. Consumption impact (c/kWh)

The consumption impact is dependent on the distribution of your consumption between the more affordable and expensive days and quarter-hours. The impact varies based on the monthly per-quarter-hour electricity consumption and the quarter-hourly prices of exchange electricity, which is why it is not fixed.

For a period of six months after signing Oomi Flex contract, you have the right to switch to a fixed-price fixed-term contract, Oomi Fixed, free of charge if you are not satisfied with the Oomi Flex contract. In this case, the end date of the new Oomi Fixed fixed-price contract will be the same as in the original Oomi Flex contract, and the price of electricity will be +0,8 c/kWh higher than the fixed price of electricity in the  original Oomi Flex contract.

The pricing of exchange electricity will switch from hourly pricing to 15-minute pricing starting from 1 October 2025. Whether your consumption is measured by the hour or by 15-minute periods, the 15-minute contract is right for you.

If you already use 15-minute metering: select Oomi Active Quarter-hour to immediately benefit from the 15-minute pricing model!

If you are still using hourly metering: No worries! In this case, your consumption during the hour will be divided into four equal periods and priced at 15-minute prices. If you switch to a contract based on 15-minute metering now, you can benefit from the 15-minute pricing model as soon as your meter is upgraded to 15-minute metering by the network company.

I don’t know which meter I’m using: Your transmission company will take care of the meter replacement. Even if you are not sure if you are already using 15-minute metering, you can choose this exchange contract without a worry.
